It´s a pleasure for Xczech Magazine to interview the famous Japanese Film Director and the Producer KINGDOM and thank him very much for this friendly dialogue.
How would you define yourself in a few words?
A person who destroys. Unconventional. A revolutionary.
Could you tell us a brief introduction about your exclusive filmography style?
My father was a still photographer. I was forced to study photography as a child. I went from being a still photographer to being fascinated by video in high school and got into the world of video. I was going to be a film director. But I was tricked into joining a porno company. But there I became a director and the next thing I knew, I’ve been working as a porn director for 20 years. During those 20 years, I won all kinds of awards in Japan and made a lot of money. I’ve seen the highs, the lows, the lows, and the lows. And here I am now. Life is very funny and interesting.
When and how was born your passion to be a film director and producer?
I’ve always had a passion for pornography since I started directing it. The films I direct are like a child and I have a lot of love for them. Now that I run my own studio and website, I have a passion as a director and a passion as a producer. Passion as a creator and passion as an environment and business. It’s a difficult balance, though.
I know that you are considered the king of the Art of Japanese Erotism. In what sense?
I believe that Japanese eroticism is a diverse eroticism created by the mosaic. I am convinced that by combining Japanese eroticism with Western and European eroticism, we can create content that more people around the world can enjoy.
How is generally your country to work in this industry? Have any difference with the world?
The Japanese adult industry is very closed and does not like new blood. It can get tangled up in interests. The old system is still the rule and you can’t film actresses freely. I’m sure there are similarities in the world, but at least you have more freedom and choice than in Japan. If the pornography of the world is an industry, then the adult industry in Japan is a culture. It can’t be an industry.
In which Japanese city have you established your productions?
I shoot mainly in Tokyo. The company I run is not in Japan. Several of my companies, the main body of my business, are located outside of Japan.
Which would be for you the Stereotype of the Japanese Women’s Models?
It’s true that there are many stereotypical Japanese actresses. But it’s not that the actresses are the stereotype, it’s that the production companies and the adult companies that shoot the actresses demand the stereotype. When I film my content, I make sure that the actresses are not stereotyped.
When you select an actress to film, which talent parameter takes you into account?
A common consideration is the humanity of the actresses. As a director, the range of performance and whether or not you like sex. And whether or not they enjoy their work. As a producer, you need to find out if the actress you are filming is popular and if she is an actress in demand. As I have a lot of customers all over the world, it is necessary for me to be an actress who will please and surprise the users, and I need to think about the contents that they want to see.
Which are for you the advantages and disadvantages of working as an erotic actress nowadays?
The drawbacks may vary from country to country, but even in Japan, the status of sex workers is low and they may be discriminated against. Also, invasion of privacy, etc.
It is difficult to be asked about the advantages, but I already have a great deal of value to the person just because she is a pornographic actress, and I respect and appreciate the actresses.
Which were your best professional experience and biggest success in your life?
It’s in the past now. I’ve won all the awards I can get to Japan, and I’ve got more money than I can spend. What I got in return was disingenuous. The past is not important to me. But that experience has made me the person I am today. You can never let that experience go to waste.
What means for you the erotism?
Individuality. It is fluid and changes its shape like water.
What´s your opinion about erotism actually and How would be in the future?
To me, eroticism is something individualized and fluid. It would be something that changes its various forms and reaches different people. Japanese eroticism grew out of the presence of mosaics, and Western eroticism is an eroticism born out of the visibility of it all. I think there will be more diversity in the future and I would like to combine the good eroticism of Japan and the West.
What counsel would you give to the actress that thinks to start to work with you?
Japanese actresses should not deny their own potential and value. I want them to be aware of the world from a broad perspective. This also translates to performance. When I work with Western actresses, I always want them to enjoy their work and sex, including my shooting techniques and methods.
What is your personal motto?
My personal motto is to keep my faith. I’m not one to give up. Once I’ve made up my mind, I won’t bend my beliefs, no matter what. The rest is to remember to respect it.
How many languages do you speak?
I speak Japanese and everyday English at a conversational level.
What´s your official website?
Have you planned or projects for the future?
We have plans for the future. While japornxxx.com will remain at the heart of it, we will collaborate with various studios in the future. It will also break the existing boring rules and allow users around the world to enjoy more Japanese actresses.
Thank you so much for this nice and interesting interview for Xczech Magazine and I desire you all the best wishes?
